Find the Right StayAndGo for Your Tesla

StayAndGo is available in multiple vehicle-specific versions. Compatibility depends on your Tesla model, charge-port hardware, and the charging equipment being used.

Please select the version that matches your vehicle before ordering.

Standard Edition

The Standard Edition is designed for:

  • Tesla Model 3
  • Tesla Model Y
  • Supported newer Tesla Model S vehicles
  • Supported newer Tesla Model X vehicles

For Model S and Model X, compatibility depends on the vehicle’s actual charge-port hardware. If your vehicle was produced around a hardware transition period, verify your charge-port configuration before ordering.

Pre-2022 Model S/X Edition

This version is designed for older Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles equipped with the compact-style charge-port hardware.

Do not select the Standard Edition based only on the connector looking similar. The physical charge-port configuration is different and requires the correct StayAndGo version.

Cybertruck Edition

Tesla Cybertruck requires the Cybertruck-specific StayAndGo version.

The Standard Edition and Pre-2022 Model S/X Edition should not be substituted for the Cybertruck version.

Charging Station Compatibility

StayAndGo is designed for compatible Tesla/NACS DC fast-charging configurations, including:

  • Tesla V2 Superchargers
  • Tesla V3 Superchargers
  • Tesla V4 Superchargers
  • Compatible Tesla/NACS DC fast-charging connectors

StayAndGo is not designed for:

  • Tesla 72 kW Urban Superchargers
  • Tesla Wall Connectors
  • Tesla Mobile Connectors
  • Level 1 or Level 2 AC charging
  • J1772 charging configurations
  • CCS charging configurations or adapters
  • Unverified third-party adapter combinations
  • Non-Tesla vehicles simply because they use a NACS-style connector

A NACS-style connector alone does not guarantee compatibility.

How StayAndGo Works

StayAndGo does not override Tesla’s electronic charge-port locking system and should not be used to force an actively locked charging connector free.

Before using StayAndGo:

  1. End the charging session normally.
  2. Use your Tesla’s normal “Unlock Charge Port” function.
  3. Confirm that the vehicle has released the charging connector.
  4. Use StayAndGo to assist with the physical disconnect.

Never attempt to force a charging connector free while the vehicle is still electronically locking it.

Model S and Model X Owners

Model S and Model X charge-port hardware changed during their production history.

For this reason, you should not rely only on model year when selecting your StayAndGo version. The actual charge-port hardware is the most important factor.

If you are unsure which version fits your vehicle, contact us before ordering with your Tesla model and model year.

Important Compatibility Notice

Compatibility may vary based on vehicle model, model year, production configuration, charge-port hardware, charger generation, adapters, charging-site equipment, and other factors.

Inspect StayAndGo and the charging connector before every use. Do not use equipment that appears damaged, cracked, deformed, loose, or improperly fitting.

Always follow Tesla’s vehicle instructions and any rules or instructions provided by the charging-network operator.
